For a long time, I created from instinct.
As a comic book author, a concept artist, then an art director in games — I relied on intuition, taste, and emotional truth.
And it worked.
I helped bring to life some beautiful characters. I got awards. Recognition. And still… something felt off.

There were moments — deep in production or in front of a blank page — where I would freeze. Not from lack of ideas, but from doubt.
The pressure to deliver fast, to fit a marketable fantasy, or to follow a template that "sells" — it all left little space for real depth.
Something didn’t click.

The characters looked good.
The scenes worked.
But something in me knew they were hollow. Or worse — fake, empty.
Like I was decorating a house with no one living inside.

The deeper truth

I’ve always felt things intensely.
I read people fast. I feel when they’re lying — or when I am.

For years, I tried to adapt. To be easier to work with.
I hid behind beautiful visuals and strong instincts.
But the more I hid, the more I felt disconnected from the characters I was building — and from myself.

Then one day, I realized I was designing characters the same way I was living: trying to be pleasing, consistent, coherent — when in fact, humans are not.
We are messy. Driven by wounds, by unmet needs, by secret hopes we barely admit to ourselves.

And so, I started digging.

Not into art — but into psychology, temperaments, trauma, identity, neuroscience, love, shame, core wounds, behavioral loops — everything I could to find tools that don’t lie.

Tools that reflect how we really work — not how we wish we did.

I built Tempified out of necessity.
First for myself.
Then for the characters I was building.
Then for my friends — writers, directors, branding people, coaches — who saw something true in it.

Why I'm writing this to you

Maybe you’re like me.
Maybe you create from the gut, but you’ve hit walls you can’t explain.
Maybe you feel too emotional, too complex, too weird to fit into all the clean storytelling formulas out there.

And a translator.
